Customer Review: Ooooh! I'm loving them!
I'll have to let you know how these hold up after a year... but for now, I'm loving these wipers. So smooth, so quiet, hugs tight and doesn't miss a spot. Wow, what a difference from the cheapos that were on my car when I bought it. There's no turning back now, I'll always have to buy top-notch wipers after this! Very easy to install, as well -- and I'm a newbie at this kind of thing (pumping gas was the extent of my mechanical know-how). The Bosch ICON wiper blades are streamlined, too... a nice change from the overly engineered look. I'm thinking my PT Cruiser is feeling pretty sexy tonight.
Customer Review: Bosch Icon
Nice design, sheds ice well, no chatter, but the outside tip on the passenger side does not hug the windshield as well as I've see on other brands. Time and wear will tell whether these wipers are worth the premium price.
Texas is a huge state there can be no doubt about it and there is much to see in Texas. And since it takes so long to see it all may I recommend that you go by RV. You need to hit all the major cities such as Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston. In San Antonio they have the famous Riverwalk and in Houston and Austin there are many great restaurants and wonderful places to see. Dallas has really grown up and it is now a huge metropolis.
There are also many museums to see in Texas and I recommend the Confederate Air Force Museum and the Permian Basin Oil Museum. The great state of Texas has all kinds of things to see and they are very RV friendly and they are glad you come to spend your money.
The people in South Texas are some of the nicest people in the world and it is kind of scary because you feel like you're talking to your next-door neighbor. In Corpus Christi they have the big aircraft carrier, which you can actually go inside of and Brownsville Texas has the old United States Marines Museum.
And don't forget West Texas there is a lot of open space on the plains in Texas. In El Paso you'll be surprised at all the fun things to do and the museums there as well. That city has certainly changed. Perhaps you will consider all this in 2006.
